I have been left a Belazani accordian inlaid with black dancing figures on a background and keys of mother of pearl. Can you help with some information on the background of this wonderful instrument. It my feeling that it is over 60 years old. I would appreciate any information.

Many Thanks

Regards

Bob

Hello Mr. Duane!
I am a college student and about to start learning accordion. I have never seen one before but I love accordion music! My accordion is arriving next week, and I'll be using your website to learn it. Thanks for your awesome website. Keep accordion alive!

What a fantastic website, congratulations! I have just retired and just started to learn to play the piano accordion (I already play the piano). Thanks so much for taking the trouble to put the lessons together, wonderful!

Just discovered your site. Fascinating. I started learning the accordion a little over a year ago. It is a very wonderful, rewarding underestimated instrument in my opinion. I knew most of the "music" stuff as I am also a piano player. I think the accordion is alive and well thanks to folks like you. Keep up the good work.

Hi Duane,
I'm a retired electrical engineer from Connecticut. My dad had his own band after work where he played the violin and accordion. Now that I'm retired for a few years I'm starting to learn the accordion. I finally found an accordion instructor last year and he's using the same manual as you. I find it very helpful to double my learning when I follow along with you. I would like to improve my timing better and also would like to find my right hand notes better, what should I do? Thanks so much for your extra time and effort. Please continue onto the intermediate lessons so I can maybe play for our Senior Center without making too many mistakes. Thanks again.
Sincerely yours, Ralph Blechner

Hi Duane
What a great retirement idea. My wife gave me an accordion for Christmas last year which I have been trying to self teach with very little success. When I came across your lessons I felt I had found someone who could help me. I am 76 years old so a little slow mabey but willing to give it a try. Am also a woodworker & artist so keep quite busy. Anyway many thanks
