Thank you for posting the accordion lessons and PDF of finger exercises. I took accordion lessons up through high school during the 1970's when everyone wanted to play guitar. I am now 57 and still have my original accordion and want to refresh my neglected skills. The Hanon exercise book is the exact one I used as a kid and it will help me a lot. I remember using the Palmer Hughes series when I was first learning. Now I need to find some polish fold songs that I used to play for my grandmother.

Thank you so much for wanting to pass on your knowledge and passing it on freely. I recently acquired a piano accordion and I never dreamed that I could learn to play a musical instrument, let alone my favourite one, the accordion. I can say that I am very grateful for your lessons and the effort that you have put in to this very valuabel resource.

I would like to thank you for the free lessons, I've found in your homepage... I was given a piano accordion (Weltmeister, 96 bass) and it's great having the possibility to play some easy songs immediately after only few hours of practising, and seeing the fast improvements each day, ... I appreciate the way you prepare the lessons for us. Thanks once more!

My stepmother of 35+ years passed this last week and I grew up listening to her play this fine instrument. With the help of your site I hope to honor her through learning to play myself. At the very least, enough to play for her once a year.

Thank you so very much for your lessons! I've always dreamed of playing the accordion and now I can even with a hectic schedule! I'm slowing chugging along on Lesson 21 now and having lots of fun!

Just started taking up the accordion and found your website to be of immeasurable value. The lessons are clear and easy for a beginner like myself to follow and learn. Within a short time, I hope to be playing the accordion with my band and I just wanted to thank you for the many hours dedicated to the production of the lessons.

I cant thank you enough for your generosity and time that you have put into this site. I am of Doukhobor background (Russin immigrants) and have always dreamed of being able to play some traditional gypsy tunes. I am on lesson 26 and reading, playing and feeling like i am on my way. Thank you again..

I just wanted to say thank you for putting the free accordion lessons on line : )
I was recently given an old accordion (freeycle) but it's been stored somewhere damp and isn't the 120 bass you recommend for starting learning (it's smaller) so maybe not possible to progress this just yet - but some time later, I hope : D
There is nothing quite like accordion music - I listened to your recording of "je ne regrette rien" and the subtlety of your playing is memorable.
Thank you so much for making available a lifetime's teaching, for free - not everyone would do that.
Best regards,
Penny.
